So. The thing I actually totally LOVE about seeing “bad” art like this is the techniques used.

No seriously, look at this for a second.

This artist obviously is familiar with photoshop, at least enough to create some sort of image. Look how smooth the lines are and even all of the shading and highlights are. I’m kind of impressed with the technique for the highlights. This person obviously has devoted some time to learned different tips and tricks in digital painting programs. Probably has spent hours watching and reading tutorials to learn these things. They SSSSOOOO have a better understanding of digital mediums than I do.

I think once this person learns some anatomy, style, perspective, all those art things to BACK UP these cool techniques, they will have some PRETTY DANG COOL art on their hands.

So I did this… I wish I had more and different flowers and a big vase so I could REALLY do some flower arranging!!

It’s a mother’s day gift for my mom. We are celebrating it early coz we work. The big one is hers, decorated with twine and cardinal bird beads. I think I’ll give her the small one too… I got red and white to match UofL Cardinal colors lol.

I got these bunches of carnations (her favorite) and a bunch of “million stars”(baby’s breath?) for less than 12 bucks at the grocery store! And I already had the vase, twine and beads. And I so can’t wait to arrange something again. It’s really relaxing and creative in a different way than I usually am. And relatively cheap. Yay!!!
